Recreational Vehicles

Ordinance 15.04(18)(b) restricts the storage of recreational vehicles on your property.   Below is a summary of the ordinance.  The full ordinance can be found here:  General Provisions 15.04(18)

  1. Parking is permitted in the side yard or rear yard, provided it is not closer than five (5) feet to any lot line; and on a hard-surface or gravel area.
  2. Parking is permitted in the front yard setback when inside parking is not possible, only in accordance with the following, additional restrictions:
    1. The overall length of the recreational vehicle shall not exceed twenty-two (22) feet and the overall height shall not exceed seven (7) feet.
    2. The recreational vehicle shall not be located closer than five (5) feet from any lot line.
    3. All parts of the recreational vehicle shall be located on a hard-surface or gravel area.
  3. Parking of a recreational vehicle is allowed on the public street for a period not to exceed forty-eight (48) consecutive hours and not more than four (4) occasions in any calendar month.
